I have an 08 GT vert.

I want to know, is there a hole behind the GT badges on the front fenders of the car (just ahead of the doors)?

I just saw a new V6 with no badges there whatsoever, and no hole, so I'm guessing that Ford would be too cheap to have different quarter panels just for the GT, but has anyone removed one of these badges to look?

Maybe only the 08's have no holes there?

You have two holes for locating pins on the GT emblem. You can have them filled, or find other badges that will cover the holes, like the V6 pony package emblems.

The Pony emblems come with the alignment pins so they do fit the same holes.

Thanks for your replies, but then why have several V6's I've seen not have anything there at all?

V6's without the pony package do not have badges. Ford doesn't make two fenders. They just drill the fenders in the pony package and GT models.

Stan is correct the 05 's don't. They started "ThePonyPackage" in 06. Which has the fog lights, emblems, 17" rims and Carpeted front floor mats with unique brushed chrome MUSTANG badge 1200 bucks.

These might not be exactly correct, but very close as I measured them myself.

I agree. But the genuine Ford (Shelby) are hard to find and expensive.

I know a few people that are going to be making replicas. Shouldn't be too much longer. I'll let you know when they're available.
