My AC clutch got torn up when my idler pully locked up. Now it tries to spin, but instead just makes a clunk and stops moving again. This occurs once every 5-10 seconds and is becoming annoying. I have the AC switched off so should the clutch not be engaging?
Is there a specific fuse for the AC? Where is it?

Anytime you turn the defroster on the A/C turns on. To disable the A/C, disconnect the low pressure cutoff switch located on top of the accumulator. The accumulator is the aluminum canister on the passenger side firewall. The single electrical connector on it is the one you want to disconnect.
