That's what I discovered the first time I got under the car. Sounds like my cables are probably stretched. I have one replacement that came with the car. Thanks.jerryD said:i can try to get a pic if needed. take your center console off. lift up the e-brake handle. when you lift it up, you will see a threaded rod with a nut on it. tighten that nut to your desired liking. if your cables are streched then those will need to be replaced.

Brakes work good, but I have to pull the handle up so high that it almost points straight up.
