Off and on about 10 hours. I started off with airplane stripper, then sanding with DA, dremel, and hand starting at 60, 120, 200, 400, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000 then I start with black, red, then white rouge on buffing wheels.

Instead of changing hood height like everyone does building their ride I wanted to change the intake height

Dude, what are you talking about? You do realize that all those intakes fit under your stock hood without any modifications right? Am I missing something?

I appreciate the stock hood look, I really do. However, I think you are over thinking it.

Something says that doesn't make sense, it must be you.

If every intake that has been linked or suggested to you fits under a stock hood, why are you still trying to shorten it?

With only GT40P heads on the car, just get an explorer intake and have the lower ported by Tmoss (if he's still doing that).
