Is there any way to adjust fuel pressure on 99+ (returnless) cars?

Just curious if there is any way to adjust the fuel pressure on the returnless style cars without having to buy a chip/programmer? I know that with the fox bodies and the early SN95's with the retrun style fuel system one of the first mods was an adjsutable fuel pressure regulator. From what I have read this was useful because tweaking the fuel pressure could net you a few extra ponies, and be very helpful when you started moding your car. My understanding is that increasing the fuel pressure at the same fuel injector pulse width cause more fuel to sprayed, or less if you decrease it. That way you can fine tune your a/f ratio to maximize hp and the computer is none the wiser. I have never heard of anything for this on the new returnless cars. Just curious if any one has heard anything about one, and if it is even worth it.

Do you think that tweaking the a/f on a car, moddified like mine, would provide any gains?

Just an A/f bump? probably not. But a complete tune should help out a bit. The advatange a tune gives you over a timing adjuster is control of the timing throughout the RPM range. Much better than a base timing bump.
