Is there any way to Lengthen MAF Harness wiring or IAT/ACT wiring?

I'm hiding and rearranging some wires for my current little project I"m messing with.

In putting the MAF in the inner fender, the MAF wire to connect it to the housing is about 2 inches too short...if I plug it in, the same problem goes for the ACT plug since they split off the same main harness.

I've already pulled all the wiring out and stretched it in every possibly way.

Any ideas?

Yes Pro M has an extension kit you can buy.. tell them how long you want it and it will come with the MAF end and you have to solder and shrink tube the other end into your existing MAF harness.. I used one in the past and it worked real nice.

so you basically end up doing the same thing but paying more for the pro-m maf connector instead of just splicing wires in? i suppose that would work as well........

It is extreamly important to make sure you have good soldered splices that are shrinked and mosture resistant on the MAF. The kit has the meter end plug, all wires are very well insulated, and this cuts the number of splices that you would have to make in half since you only have one end to splice. which may cut down on the potential problem areas. Either way I'm sure will work but there is an extension kit avaliable and there are some benifits to the extension.
