Is there a kit that consists of the fuel lines from the engine bay to the fuel rails? I don't want the fuel rails, but I want stainless. The rubber ones burned when the headers got too hot and I need new ones. I know steeda makes them for the fox bodies, but what about our bastard child?

Good luck. I asked the same question, I searched the same question and either way didn't generate any real answers. I never came across that steeda set though. I think I am going to call them on those lines.

I just got off the phone with Steeda. The are going to call me back but the guy I talked to seem clueless. And instead of putting me on the phone with someone that could help me he kept trying to tell me what he though and how he thinks. I wanted to say, "just put me on with someone who knows, not thinks"

all u need to do is get the adapters to hook up braided line to the stock rails, summit sells them for about $14 each. its -8 on the feed, -6 on the return. once those adapters are in place run the line right to the rear of the car, completely replacing the sh-tty factory lines. i cut the hard lines right before they went in the tank and ran the braided line to there. replacing just the lines u see under the hood is completely pointless.

What do you do with the hard lines that you cut at the tank? Do you just use hose clamps at the hard line or what? That is the part I am confused on? Can anyone help?

Russell Performance makes a set for 1987-1993- I know that the side that goes to the fuel rail should work- but my question would be how are the hard lines flared?

thats exactly what i did, cut them right before they go in the tank and then used hose clamps to tighten the braided line down onto the hard lines.

yeah, why not? i used fuel injection hose clamps for that.

Why not go ahead and get the aeromotive kit with the fuel rails? The kit has everything you need. All those fittings really start adding up quick$$$
Besides, with that 347 build your probably going to need them anyway, especially with the 100 shot. your going to need lots of fuel.

Well the aeromotive kit costs 1500 bucks and the stock fuel rails flow enough for my combo and I already have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I just need a replacement for the rubber lines that burned up when I went lean with the old motor.

Can anybody give me the part numbers of the adapters that I need to adapt braided line to the stock fuel rails? Also, about how long are the lines from the rail to the filter?

This is Correct

Another Question how to get the rear finished still using the hard lines use this

Tube Sleeve and Tube Nuts

You cut the bump off the end hard line Slide the tube nut on the line, then slide the tube sleeve, aeroquip suggest that you braze or silver solder the tube sleeve on the line, once that is done buy a union the same size as the stainless line and tube nut and screw them together. This setup is will stand up to 800 PSI according to Aeroquip.
