might have to sell my stang:

02 GT sonic blue
leather/mach 460/all options
chrome cobra rims
new aqua-tread tires (month old)
eibach pro kit
flowmaster super 40 exhaust
mac prochamber included but not yet installed
7 year warranty
aftermarket tint
all maint. records/only synthetic oil used/car is flawless inside & out, engine is very clean

$16,400 a fair asking price? THE KBB is around $16,700, but the rims and eibach kit were $1,500 w/install, warranty was $800, tint was $200, prochamber was $200, flows were almost $200 w/install, tires were $500.... good deal?

Whos got an automatic here

Might have to sell my current GT b/c of payments, if I do i will get an older, cheaper Stang though. I already got my eye on 3:

two 99 GT Verts
one 97 Cobra vert

one of the 99's is BEAUTIFUL (35th anniversary) but it is an automatic. ive always been against automatics but I dont even know why, I'm not into racing or anything... it's strictly a "cruisin around town, picking up chicks" car for me. So I guess the stick thing is just in my head, who has an automatic here? Is it that bad? I know I might miss the fun but I don't know if the convertible top will make up for that. On a plus side, I do find the shifter on the Stang way too far.

I have an automatic and have had a 5-speed Mustang in the past. For getting around town it's great and if you ever have to deal with traffic, you'll really be thankful. I think my left leg has gotten weaker since giving up the 5-speed, but now I have the ability to drive both (not that it takes any to drive an auto) but you know what I mean. I'd personally like to have a manual again, on a car that sounds good, a manual is the way to go.

Come on guys, the stock clutch isn't heavy...
Hell, my wife drove her 01 GT with a Spec 2 til it's time was up. Now that was a bit heavy and we both agreed a lighter clutch was needed, so a KC was installed. It's slightly heavier than stock, but neither hers nor mine is any big deal to drive in traffic. We'd NEVER even consider an automatic, but that's just our opinion.
