is this a good deal?

I found a white face gauge kit on ebay for like $4. its from cj pony parts and it says it's either scratched or damaged.. the only thing i see that could possibly be damaged is that it looks like right at the fuel gauge a clear plastic covering might be peeling up. It has a silver overlay that comes with it(which i will paint black) that will hide it when i put it on.

Are these hard to put in cause i noticed ill have to take the needles out to put it on.. can i screw anything up by putting the needles on in an incorrect spot(if possible)?

just make sure you dont let any hair or dust get in between the overlay and the clear plastic shield or else you will have to stare at cat hair like i do every time i look at my speedo

I wouldnt get dammaged ones at all. Like Deft said, you look at the damn thing all the time so any defect will be very annoying. I gave KG Trout crap about buying nice wipers once, then I bought my Cobra and realized how much you look at that stuff. Ended up getting the same wipers, sorry KGT
