What kind of MAF and TB are you running? How about exaust?

I would definatly check piston to valve clearances, otherwise I would say you have good setup brewing.

I would say at least 300RWHP and track times would depend on vehicle weight, traction, and driver, but I would say breaking into the 12's should be easy. I do belive you could benifit from a custom cam and a set of longtubes.

Yea a custom cam would be nice but i have heard good things about the F cam also so i figured what the hell its already in the motor ill try it..
I dont think alot of people know but on a mild built motor shorties actually dyno'd more HP. Ill find the dyno plots and the headers they dyno'd. It was in 5.0 mag a while ago.....

But anyone with some thoughts about the setup please let me know ..

First of all, put down the magazine and step away. Especailly 5.0&FF. True, they didn't show any more HP but 40RWTQ isn't something you want to ignore either. Longtubes are definatly benificial. If the cam is already in there, then why not give it a shot. Speaking of shot, maby upgrading to a 150 or at least a 125 would get you where you want to be. I'm just throwing down some suggestions. I understand budget, trust me, I do.

Best advice you can give on the internet!! Sadly some fall to the crap they read and choose mediocre parts based on what the magazine said and then they wonder why their pathetically slow Not directed to anayone in this thread, just a sad generalization.

Fwiw there was a dude on corral with a stock 302 bottom end freshened up with TW heads, rpm intake 70/75mm tb, F303 camshaft, bassani 1 5/8-1 3/4" longtubes and made 333rwhp. Car ran 11.8 @ 114 if I remember.
