I removed my AC clutch and it has some rust on both surfaces. At least I think it's rust, I actually have not idea what these are supposed to look like - I know it's supposed to be a clutch so I'm assuming there's friction material somewhere in this. Is this something that can be used after the rust is removed or should I just buy a new one? I was just going to use a wire wheel on it and see how it turns out.

Ummm, I don't know, around the shop I hang at, I say hang because the only thing they let me use is a flashlight, broom or the fone, they replace the compressor assembly with clutch, the parts store even sells a kit that comes with stuff and a warranty, they won't tell me what the 'stuff' is or how long the warranty is, they told me it was a secret. I know you can still by the clutch assembly but they said it does not have a warranty and is prone to leaking so they just do the compressor assembly.
Not much help I know. :runaway:
