Greetings everyone !
first i would like to say i have been reading many post here in the forum and now this is my turn to get some help for my question ! i have a ford 1995 5.0 5 speed, i just get installed a mac 2.5 inchs h-pipe (no cats) with 2 chamber flowmaster 40 series. the sound is just crazy ! the car has 11000 km and has been baby tune all the time. (second owner) i am the owner since 1999 bought it at 40000km. Now i notice a performance difference, it seems that it can get higher rpms and shedoesnt stop till she reach 5500 rpm... before the exhaust swap at 5000 rpm was the time to shift... it seems that i can shift at higher rpm... BUT i was able to get around 110-115 km/h in second gear and now it does only around 90..., could i have a problem with the back pressure, the engine is completely stock and is using the stock headers from the factory... im pretty sure when i was shifting in second gear i had a little more bang in the butt... is there any good performance upgrade i can do to get profit of this new exhaust because the whole point with this is to be quicker and not slower... i tought maybe i do less speed in second gear but i am reaching it quicker... what are your advisem guys on this you have so much experience in here i am waiting for you now !!:SNSign:
