here's the deal, i'm in tech school for the air force and a buddy of mine is watching my car for me out in california. unfortunately he lives next to a kid that i dont get along with very well and one night this a$$hole decided to slash my brand new driver tires and smash the driver window in. DIY fixing is out of the question and i have no way to pick it up right now and it has to be out of my friends house by the beggining of next month. originally i was having my friend look for places that buy cars "as is" to try and get a few hundred or more for it (92 4cyl auto hatch mustang) but she's been too lazy to bother to look very hard.

so how can i possibly get some money out of this? how much would it cost to take it to a shop and have them fix the window, put new cats on it? it will already be about 125 bucks for the 2 new tires anyway but on top of all that i still have to repay my grandpa 225 dollars for the brand new 4 tires he put on it before my friend picked it up from san diego and drove it home for storage. any ideas? if for some reason it is cost effective to fix the car then i might be able to fly out and get it in july, but no promises plus i won't have a place to store it till then so really i need to just get rid of it now.

no i can't because i didn't have it insured since my friend said he was gonna park it in the garage or the parking lot for his appartments and in california you don't need insurance if it's there, besides it's a little town and i wouldn't have expected this $hit but that's what happened when he decided to park it on the street one night.

but seriously do you guys have any idea on how i can salvage some money from this??

Go to the tire shop and have them put some of their junk tires on the slashed ones so you can at least drive it around.

Put it on ebay or craiglist.com and find out what you think is a fair price.
