About 5 month ago or so I did the PI intake swap, my coolant was full until today I saw the low coolant light on, so I add more coolant, driving all day and the light and the light not come on, im I loose coolant like this every 6 month is normal ? how often is coolant burn away ?

What's your oil looking like? If it's getting creamy, or mily between changes, you might have a head gasket issue. It might also be a slow leak on the intake side, but like stated above a pressure test will give you a better idea as to what's wrong.
just throwing it out there but it could have very well had a bubble stuck in the intake from the swap, and it just happened to finally pass out of the intake so it looks like you need coolant when all you actually did was burp the system.. mine kept needing it over and over till it finally started holding the level.. never had any water in the oil either.

crank the heater on and let her warm up.. i always try and park it on a hill with your front end up in the air to help burp the system..also squeazing the main rad hose a few times will tell you if coolant is fully purged. +1 on the tester too
I burp it by parking up on the hill. Car ran great and not loose coolant now. Thanks all you guy.Similar threads
