so i was at Pro/Max checking out the inventory when i said i was curious about getting an intake installed. he asks a couple questions, types on his comp and says:
him: k its gonna be atleast $500 maybe $700
Me:oh really
him: yea mainly because of labor. between 6 to 8 hours on install
me:8 hours??
him:yea
me:how much is labor?
him:$80/hr
me:k thanks(leaves)
i usually do my own stuff, so i don't really know the going rates. but do alot of speed shops work this way?i know most people quote high but, since when does a 5.0 intake mani take 6-8 hours
