That's a good question to have you answer for us. I have the Steeda Sport Springs and MM CC Plates (which are very close to those in the pkg) and I am very happy with the ride/handling. As I mod the car more and more, and drive it less every day I would be willing to get a lower drop, but its not too big of a deal. H&R's will be about 1/2 inch lower than the Steedas.
I think you would be happy either way, but the price isn't a huge screaming deal in my mind. For the Steeda springs and their CC Plates together, it would be $394. I know you get the isolators in that kit (some people use them, others do not) and you get the offset rack bushings (which I hardly see used instead of a true bumpsteer kit if you are worried about that) so I'm not seeing the true benefit of the package. You could just get the H&R sport springs and the CC Plates for about $384 total and have what you initially wanted and not really miss out in my mind.
Good luck with your decision.

Also keep in mind that it is much easier just to do the shocks/struts at the same time as well since the stock ones will blow with a lowering spring eventually. Think about that in your overall budget as well
