I was just wondering how many members here use their Cobra's as daily drivers? Or if it had to be would it be able to live up to the task? Personally, mine is a daily driver, but if it gives me any problems I can always just drive my mom's car. But if need be it can be driven everyday, to and from work and/or school.

No, mine isn't a daily driver. It gets driven about twice a week right now and the miles on the odometer is not even 13,000 miles. I'm sure it could probably do the job of daily driver, but actually I seem to appreciate it more when I drive it only occasionally.

Daily driver here. I've put 10,000 miles on it since november. I drive ~30-60 miles a day on average.

Sure is a daily driver! I will be hitting 90,000 miles soon and it runs like a champ!

Mine is my daily driver. I've got a 60 mile round trip commute and I've made several long trips. I put 36K on an '03 Coupe and then bought an '04 coupe near the end of March.

Normally not but it has been for the last year until I get the motor in my Bronco running. It will aways be fully daily drivable with AC and every luxury even if I dont drive it all the time. For a race/track type car I'll go with a GT.

Since I drove it off the lot with 4 miles on it and now have 66k. Has not missed a beat and even if I had a beater to drive I would probably still drive the Cobra everyday.

Mine is a semi-daily driver. I don't take it to work, but I drive it most of the time between April and the end of October, bad weather excluded. I have a beater Exploder that I use for work and during the winter.

These cars are great daily drivers. My '03 just turned 20,000k right after I got back from the anniversary celebration in Nashville, with a side trip to Jacksonville. The only problem with the '03 is that it gets about five miles to the gallon less than my '99 'vert. Not that I bought it for the mileage, though.

Almost every day through snow, rain or shine, and she does just fine.

check another for daily driver... my 97 travels 75 miles one way to work 5 days a week... I have a beater car but it costs more to insure so I park it for the summer and drive the cobra.... no complaints other that I fill the gas tank every day and a half..... get expensive but still cheaper than the beater

Don't know what the definition of a daily driver is, but i guess so. Don't actually drive it every day and it has low miles (@ 36000). Defintely not a dyno/trailer queen. Only drive it about once a month dec.-march. Fully up to the task, except the a/c needs to be recharged.

Mine is not. It stays warm and dry in the garage most of the year, comes out to play on special occasions, or when I feel the need for speed.

peace

Nope. It's strictly a summer/good weather car. I wouldn't want to put it through an evil Michigan winter w/ the road salt that MDOT dumps on the streets. LOL

My 96 is intended to be my daily driver. From last september to late april of this year I was using my 88 5.0 as my daily driver while I went through engine problems with my 96. I am now on my fourth engine combo and glad the car is back on the road as my daily driver once again.

yeah, mine is a daily driver. But I dont have to drive that far to work. If I had it my way, I would keep my 99 GT and have her as my daily driver...but I rather have the lower monthly payments instead.
