Well all went good today until..... It was the first day of practice at the circle track with my 85. It started off good until i got it on the trailer. My stinking shifter linkage popped off, but i fixed that when i got to the track. So i got that fixed and was getting excited. I fired it up and it was sounding mean with the straight headers. I backed it off the trailer and pulled off onto pit road. I shut it off to wait till the other cars got off. I started it up and finally got onto the track. Its the first time that i had got it out of first. I spent two laps just watching my gauges and getting a feel for the car. After every thing seemed to be going okay i started to get on it. It was handling sweet with the goodyear slicks. I was coming out of turn two then is started smoking like frieght train. My crew cheif told me to bring it back in. I ended up blowing out the side of my timing chain cover gasket and it was pouring everywhere. So by the time i got home it was about 9:30 and there isn't a parts store open. So now im screwed for tomorrow for the first race, but i did run a 20.5 second lap and i dont even have it dialed in yet. Im gonna whoop some chevy ass. Just needed to vent.

Things like this happen. Its very cool what your doing with your car though. Not many people race their foxes like that. And I was expecting you to say everything was going good and then someone came and hit you, so atleast your car didnt get wrecked.
