my n/a motor died this morning right at 213,900 miles . last night i was drivin, i raced another 2.3 and beat him then i heard a clank so i stopped at my buddies house and ended up drinkin "koolaid" so i spent the night. woke up this mornin and the car was drivin like a champ so i headed for my favorite road to run my car. got half way through my run and my car sounds like it has a turbo spoolin up(it was very loud it only lasted about maybe 30-45 secs) so im like wtf and like a dumbass i dogged it more and she popped. dont know what broke but she is burnin oil at the rate of 4 quarts a mile (figured that out on the way home, about 2 miles and it ate up 8 quarts) still runs but has a badass knock and smokes up the yard. so now the good news! i have a turbo motor waitin to go in all i need is exaust, boost guage, and a boost controler. couple of questions, does any one have a map of like vacum hose routing or what not ( i hope u know what im talkin bout). does anyone know the website for the directions on how to make ur own boost controller? and are there any lil hints or tricks that would be helpful to me for when im doin the swap. im so sad but so happy lol thanks for the help

Don't make a boost controller unless it's a ball and spring type.

update

well the old motor is ready to come out, kinda. couple of questions, how do u take off the fuel lines from the fuel rail? i removed the clips and have tugged on them like a mofo and they are not budgin. wtf? um pulled the plugs on my old motor just to check out the top of the pistons and #'s 1&2 are fine lookin but 3 and 4 had oil all in them so i gues that means its broke! lol oh yea does anyone have a cheap down pipe for sale? as of right now i have 2 dollars and some change but i get paid friday so ill have money then. i already did all the wiring for the vam and made the computer swap so i guess im well on my way. well i just thought i would give yall a heads up on whtas goin on,wish me luck everyone!
