All in all it was a great first fire up, my fisrt one ever (with a whole new motor). I took my time and made sure everything was good to go, and it went pretty smooth. The tune is way off, but I was able to get it to idle. It fired up on the first crank, and sounded just how I wanted. I did not get a video, it is not ready for that. I have to pull the motor to finish cleaning/painting the engine bay, and it"s still is waiting for the trans so I'm not going to try to tune it till then. The converter (PTC) should be shipped to me on Monday, and I'm taking the bell (needed it to start it) to the tranny builder this week. It should be driving within a few weeks. Please,... please hold your horses for a video, you wouldn't want to see what went on today, we had wires running everywhere!!! Not pretty, but man did it sound great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again to WaterPog for lending a hand, and the welding.

Wow that looks great Nate. I have learned to enjoy fabrication on my turbo system as well. It's half the fun. I have some wiring to do, install the correct head gaskets (Cometic) and finish up my exhaust system and it's fire in the hole. Hope nothing blows up. Keep us posted on the new tranny too.

spray meth. how much boost ya runnin nate? I agree that Ic's are overrated. I have datalogged my intake temps and unless you have a lot of air passing and are haulin balls everything is still heat soaked. Of course i'm referring to aa ic's
