Oh man does it rock the house!!! The round pad on top of the desk is the cats ass!! You spin the outside for volumn control, and touch the middle to mute it. That was the Bose Companion 3. They had a lesser Companion 2, and they have a better Companion 5. But the 5, was double the price, and the 3 blew was loud in the store, so I knew it would be even louder in the tiny bedroom.

My brother has that and man that thing kicks ass! I was at his house last weekend and he was jamming some tunes that filled teh whole house. I was shocked when I went in his puter room and could not see the speakers

Heres my current favorite toy. The pic is from when I was first moving in to my new place. I built all the speakers myself, it sounds incredible.

Very nice! I sometimes wish I didnt live in CA, so I could actually afford a home.
Me and the gf pay 1550 a month for a 1200 sq ft 2bd 2ba. I could have a mansion in Texas for that. Oh well, the price you pay for gorgeous weather and everything at your fingertips.

Thank you!! CA is nice, but I've heard it's very expensive as well. A friend of mine I used to work with moved out there in 1999. He loves it, he is still there, but he just said it's so hard. He does the same job there as he did here, but makes double....but everything else is double too...he just gets to drive his car 365 days a year!!....

You'll get there bro. I looked at quite a few houses. I wanted a bar in the basment. I didn't do anything down there. It remodeled in the mid 1990's, and everything is still in good shape. I just decorated, had the carpet cleaned, and I retiled those stairs black, and put the new aluminum edging on there. It had an ugly blue tile, with dented, dull aluminum edging. It really made the basement steps an eye sore, until I re did them.
Don't settle either, there are plenty of houses for sale. I almost settled for this one house, and everytime I drive by it now, I thank God I didn't buy it.
