So... I've always been connected with my Mustangs. But today, as I handed the keys to the shop to do the safety and emissions test I was worried he wasn't going to be able to pull it into the shop as he didn't know her like I know her. It all worked out fine, but as I drove off I realized how much I love the imperfections of my Mustang compared to modern cars!

It's more personal, more alive, it seems to have personality, it seems to have good days and bad days, it's aggressive, it gets tired, it likes to show off, it likes to be parked in a garage, it likes it when people pull up next to us and ask what year she is... you know!?

I like the relationship I have with my car... I know just how to open the door just right, how to crank the engine, how to put it in park, how to steer when I'm going 75, how to brake, how to push the gas, etc... she's mine, and I'm hers (don't tell my wife!)

What's your relationship with your car like?

(I have a 70 coupe by the way, no signature yet)

I feel the same way. I would rather have mine than a new one any day.

As a new edge owner I will say this......what you describe is the feeling I thought I would get owning any mustang but in my experience that's simply not the case. I hope to correct that with my next purchase

I guess that's why it's so easy to name our Mustangs... right?
