that i start to dislike working on cars. my cars been overheating lately, so i got a frpp aluminum rad, new tstat, etc and started throwing em on today. got the old rad out, the shroud painted (it was sticking out like a sore thumb), and started taking the tstat housing off, well the bottom bolt came out with a bit of persuasion, but the top one broke the head off. thats really no bid deal, there was enough of it left to grab it with some vice grips, but as i was doing that, i noticed that the outside of the ear for the bolt hole was completly gone, taking the bottom half of the threads for the bolt with it. luckily i have a bud at work who's got a cobra intake that hes been trying to get rid of, so i might buy it off him monday (ive always been of the philosophy of if it breaks, upgrade it). sorry for the long rant, but it just irks me that every time i try to do something simple, something goes wrong and i end up spending 3x the time to get the car driveable again.
i guess this is why i didnt go to school to be a mechanic.

lol if you bitch about things not going right then you def don't want to buy a ****ed up intake that needs work. Buy a new one or a nice used one that is in Perfect condition.
