it’s fifty here today, then six inches of snow tomorrow, then the fifties for Saturday and sixties for Sunday. Stupid Oklahoma……

That's my biggest problem buying cuts of meat like that... How much was it per pound, and you just removed 5 lbs.

Ok, sorry. All the kids came over to eat. Everyone was wanting to talk. Then I ate way too much, complained about eating way too much, and fell asleep…….

So, first off, Bob Evans six cheese macaroni is freaking wonderful!

I made myself a couple burritos with brisket, the mac and cheese and salsa. With this combo I found I was unable to stop eating, geez it was good.

So here’s the brisket cut up a bit.



This is the smallest brisket I’ve ever cooked, about eight pounds.

I did have enough for breakfast burritos this morning .

Yeah, this one was twice the size of the last time I made it so it cooked for an hour flipped it half way, then turned the burners all the way up for the last 10 minutes..
