Unless one of my ac units brakes. I knew one of them was going to give up after 6 days straight of 102+ temperatures. I have a bad feeling it's the compressor this time too. Everything else seems good.

i was about to ask on what car till i realized you meant the house. in this heat wave those things have to work constantly which isn't what they are designed to do.

Absolutely true statement there. I knew it was going to give up after the heat last week. Once I got it apart in the daylight I saw that the capacitor was all bubbled up on the top. That's a $40 part, so I got lucky on that one. We're back in business now. I'm not going to have to sleep on the living room floor again tonight.
