Pretty quick, combo probably has more in it, with some professional tweaking.
5th grinds a little? right? when going in at speed.

My car faded the same way, took in it, said "paint it the factory color", when i got it back, i thought it was someone elses car.

Reds not my preference either, but a color change these days from a good shop is like 4 grand.
As opposed to like 2000-2500 to do the same color because they don't need to paint all the jams.

Car used to be real nice when it was a 4 banger, for some reason he let it go after making it a 5.0.

paint it redfire man!! i just painted my former laser red car redfire, and i LOVE it!!! its so shiney and awesome in direct light, but in dim light, and at night, it has this DEEP DEEP wine tone...heres 2 pics to highlight the difference...also, talk to jay (blk9450)...he painted my car in his garage with a makeshift booth, and it came out amazing...

Wow yea thats the car... grinds a little when going into 5th.. Nothing im really worried about but you can see at one time it was well taken care of. it definatly needs a tune, its never been tuned and i think that would help it. what do you think? decent combo?? It's also never been on a dyno so we shall see.. The only thing i DONT like about it is that the gas petal is soooo hard... like its almost like on or off, no inbetween..

to anyone on here, is there a way i can make the gas petal respond better, should i put lubricant on the cable itself or replace the cable? i dont think its the throttle body....

I dunno if its been mentioned, but redire would look nice! Id say 3k is still a deal, the engine parts alone are worth that. IMO, keep it clean, red with some 18" Saleens.

I would check the throttle body linkage and see if it's binding up somewhere? What kind is it? If it's BBK then thats most likely the problem! I seen one of those with the butterflies cracked cause there products are junk! Nice ride man keep it red! peace

Another vote for leaving the car red... There is just something about a red Mustang that makes me feel special inside.

The cable problem may really be the Throttle body. If not, just buy a new ford cable and be done with it.

Definetely a setup with 300+rwhp potential

The throttle cable at the TB could be sitting on the valve cover. One of my engine was like that when I bought the car. It was pretty much all or nothing.

I don't know if this is red or orange but it's definately one of the best two-tones I've seen. And that clear is flat!

Not mine, but wish it was. Belongs to LS-what? I believe.

Sorry, I was a little jammed up earlier.

I have painted 3 stangs and a vette. I'm working on making room to bring in a 91 LX vert that I was asked to paint. This will be the first car I do for a customer. Need to get rid of one more from my stable to swing it. Also have a C5 vert that I'll be painting later this year for someone. My paint jobs are not perfect. I always manage to make mistakes. I am getting better. The cars always get drooled over. normally I have to show people the mistakes cuz they can't see past the colors. I only shoot HOK and I disassmble everything that can be. I learned how to paint after paying some assclown $2500 to paint my wifes LX. I got the car back and told her that I could do a better job than that, and I did. If I don't sell the 4 eye, I won't have room to do any painting other than the FFR I'm working on.

These are the cars I've painted in the order they were done.

Cliff
