I know we all have those moments when we want to put rice in their place and after yrs of owning Mustangs my number finally came up.

I got home from work the other day, decided to go back into town to watch the new Transformers movie (awesome movie BTW) and figured Id take the Cobra out since it was pretty nice out. As Im going through town I come to a light and notice a WRX (not an STI even though it had the STI wing) behind me at a light had a big fart cannon on it as well. I take off from the light and am not going that fast but look in my rear view mirror behind me and notice the WRX weaving in and out of traffic to try and get around them (2 lane road) Apparently he heard the car at the previous light and wanted to catch up. Well we get to the next light and he pulls up beside me, being that we were in town I didnt really plan on doing anything. As the light changes he rev's his motor and takes off like a bat out of hell with his car farting and popping along the way......Im like oh hell no he didnt just do that. So Im like WTF Im not going to let some punk get away with that especially when Im in the Cobra. We come to the next light and as he pulls up to it I get closer to him (a few feet away) and pull up next to his door and look at his passenger and get his attention and then get the drivers attention he looks over and I said...."Does it run 12's" He kind of laughs and says "what this thing...umm no" I said..."Good then you wouldnt stand a chance" And then I just buried the pedal into the floor in 1st gear as the back end breaks loose (not kicking sideways but cleaned off the Nittos pretty well) Usually I would not do this right in town since my exhaust is extremely loud but this was one of those things that I just couldnt let go. We get to the next light side by side and he does not even look over, light turns green and he takes off like a normal driver.

Punk put in their place

I remember when i had my straight pipes and a Vette pulled up on the side of me with their windows down. He revved at me and I just put the pedal to the floor before he was even done. They both jumpped back and the driver said "Nevermind" and rolled the windows up. lol

The funny thing is that he would have smoked me.

What bothers me is they have no sense of hierarchy. There are rules, rules that are in place to bring order. There is a pecking order that they are not aware of, you dont feed from the bottom and try to mess with someone who dine's at the top. By no means am I a car expert and know every car out there but when I see something that is bad ass or something that will clean my clock I dont mess with it. No matter what they see that comes along, no matter what it is they have no sense of where their place is. When you see something that has SVT Badging and Cobra emblems it brings forth a certain level or respect and they are just blind to it all.

funny u guys say this.... i was comin home from teh beach the other nite... my boys are in my car and my girl and my sister are in my sisters truck behind me... i pull up to the light and notice its a camaro next to me. we just exchange nods and thats really it... we didnt really race, but this ******* behind me was ridin my f'n ass... i slammed the brakes on and he was literally an inch or so from rearended me... he came on the side of me and goes "u stupid ****, go race him and takes off..." at this point my sister was pretty pissed, flew by me as i laughed at what he said(she was a 04 F150 supercrew with magnaflow exhaust and some 20s LOL..) and proceeded to chase him and cut him off...

no real point to the story, just all people arent out to race... i just like to cruise and have fun when need be...

You've forgotten one important point...ricers ALWAYS put badges from the high-end car, on THEIR OWN cars. They prolly think that if it has "Cobra" and "SVT" on it that you must just know where to buy the badges.

I get guys wanting me to race, all the time. Funny thing is, it's the guy with the low-end Civic with "Type R" and "VTEC" badges (with steel wheels!!!!) that want to race. I don't even give them the time of day. Just let 1st gear (auto) wind a little more than normal and then chirp 2nd. (Flowmasters and O/R H pipe sound BADA$$!!! I think so, anyway.) They lay off, after that.

Just make sure to watch out for that SVT Type R Civic with Twin Muffler bearings and a turbonator...
