it's time to bash the newb!!!

hey guys my name is Tommy and obviously im new to the forums...just joined yesterday. i drive a 1988 mustang gt convertable...yes convertable...the heaviest of all fox bodys...but its my baby...it has a 347 stroker motor w/ all the goodies and i must say the 4.10 gears are awsome 4 the track...right now my baby is going under the knife lol, she is having some liposuction so she can be a sexy weight for the beach lol..just kidding...it is my DD...ummmm.....but like i said im in the process of stripping out the interior, taking off the dash to remove the a/c commponents, im waiting on my k-member package to come in from UPS any day now along with my hood. here are some pics of the car....

Is that intake under the stock hood? One picture the hood looks stock, the other it doesnt? Looks like fun.

it has the stock hood on it...im just waiting for my new 1 to arive n e day now

havent ran in the 1/4 yet but in the 1/8th i ran 7.48 with a 1.4 60'

It clears fine? Does it still have convertible mounts?

it just clears with less then a 1/4" of space but i dont like the hood its too heavy so i bought a fiberglass hood w/ a 3'' cowl

what do you mean convertible mounts?? all the hardwear for the ragtop?

no, they are motor mounts that allow the motor to sit lower in the bay.

oooooo.....no sir lol...stock motor mount are not in there any more

and as for the convertable motor and accesories...they will be gone this weekend
