I desperately need your help. Ive created a huge problem!
1995 GT

I had a no spark situation which I was trying to diagnose. I made a mistake with my multimeter leads and hooked them up incorrect (bone head move). See the photo below, the green box shows where I had the leads connected, and the switch was on 20 V.

I began troubleshooting for ignition switch and fuse link issues. With these leads connected in this fashion I touched the black lead to ground and the red lead to the (+) pin on the coil. I immediately heard a sound that I can only describe as a pop/boing on the left side of the engine bay.

After I did this I have the following issues:
1. The fuel pump will not prime when the key is turned on. It did before the pop. The inertia switch is depressed.
2. The only warning lights that come on with the key are ABS and airbag. Check engine, brake, batt, etc do not light up now when the key is turned on.
3. With the key on the fuel pump test port on the diagnostic connector is not operational meaning the fuel pump does not work when I jump the test port to ground.

Things to know:
I have checked all the fuses under hood and dash all are good.
I have checked power IN to the CCRM and have power, but nothing else shows power.
I tried a 2nd CCRM which showed exactly the same as the first one, but it was NOT new.

Please tell me what I may have shorted out with this idiotic move.

You guys have helped me a ton so far, so thanks in advance for any assistance!

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

You might have damaged a relay. Try swapping around the relays and see if it changes which items don't work.
