jacking rails?

does anybody make or know where to buy some aluminum/metal jacking rails to go under our side skirts? i noticed that my entire piece under the car that connects the side skirt (thing with the black clips in it) is all bent up and i guess when i scrape thats what ive been scraping. my p/c is in good shape and i cant see any scrpaes on that, so it must be the bottom of the skirts. anybody else have this prob? i dont want them to fall off and their bent pretty bad. anybody ever hear of jacking rails i could cover the bottom with?? thanks, steveb

I have the kenny brown version, its OK for what it is and easy enough to install if you have a mig welder

I have Kenny Brown jacking rails too (along with super subs and matrix brace). I bought them directly from Kenny Brown... BUT... they are not selling anything right now due to some medical and business issues that Kenny Brown is going through.

i found em on rpmoutlet for 90 bux. question.. do they cover up the entire side skirt underbody heading up to the clips? do they cover the clips? i cant get a good pic in my head on how they install. tell or show plz how they go on, that would be awesome. thanks :SNSign:

Let's see if I can explain this... there is a "lip" along the inside of the side skirts. It is a piece of metal that hangs down about 3/4" and has notches for the stock jack to bite into. I'm not sure what else is attached to it but it's your stock jacking points. If you use a standard hydraulic jack the lip will bend and curl. The jacking rails would be welded in just inside of the lips to provide a stout piece of metal that is stronger than the thin lip provided stock. It can handle a hydraulic jack and it won't bend and it can support more weight than the stock jacking points. Jacking rails would not be good for an OEM jack, you would be better using a hydraulic jack on them.

ohhh.. i get it now. thanks alot i was wondering if they covered the plastic underbody piece all the way out to the side of the car, but i guess not. since my stock rails are all bent up, the side piece sticks out a 1/4 inch or so (under the door). Ill post some pics later today/ tonight, and youll see what im saying. either the prev owner jacked up on the middle of the rail and bent it or all my scraping bent it in.
