As for the tach, what size is it? Most common spot is mounted to the dash itself above the instrument cluster so its in plain view. But a lot of times I believe it requires putting a hole ino the dash. Can't say for sure, I've always relied on the factory tach.

On the dash between the main gauge cluster and the clock pod. What size is that tach?

Now you gotta build an engine that revs to at least 8k!

Steeda or UPR has a nice little bracket that get's mounted to the dash out of sight, where the A/C / Stereo bezel goes.

Like the way your not afraid to jump in there and tackle stuff you have never done before......I just noticed your in Flint, I'm in Waterford, not far @ all. I might be able to help you with a few parts....I've got my stock hood 50,000 miles never seen winter,it's white, got the mustang insulator still on it. I've also got my old bbk I think chrome cold air kit. My old stock clutch about 55,000 miles, you can have the disc and pp for free in you want them. You can take the cold air as well for free. the hood if you want it I'll let go cheap. I've got some other stuff as well let me know what you are still in need of.
If you come over you can check out my ride, and go for one hell of a ride. It will bring a smile to your face when boost hits!!! lol

So..... A lot of people here aren't going to like this.... but I listed the car for sale... If I can sell the car I'll end up selling the rest of the pieces serpately and engine.

I'm trying to move really bad but this car is not helping, and I already have $2600 into it, and still need motor mounts, wiring harness, clutch, sensors, starter, complete exhaust system
in reality this project has been stressful on me. I'm going to continue assembling the engine but if someone local gives me a good offer on the chassis I'm selling it along with everything else.... Let's hope I can continue this tho :-/

Yes, I'm still alive, yes I'm still working on the mustang, yes I'm a slacker.
Been busy enjoying summer a little too much, not getting work done fast at any rate but oh well. Working on rebuilding the transmission still. Is about 60% done. I'll post updates as usual. Obviously I changed my mind on selling the car

Nice work! I was thinking of doing this myself.....Does it involve a k member swap?

302 swap?
if you have a 96-98 your k-member is different and would require you to swap to the 94-95 for a 302 swap, or you could just simply go with the 4.6l swap

Swapping a 5.0 into a 94-95 chassis does not require a k-member swap. All 94-95 cars use the same k-member (V6, GT and Cobra) AND use the same tranny crossmember too. Did a V6-to-Cobra swap recently and re-used the k-member and tranny crossmember.

Awesome. Thank you. I was thinking of fixing or swapping into a clear title fox, but I really like the early SN's. I think I may go ahead and do it since it I may have found a good one for 300$. V6 has a cracked head.

Next question/round of questions: The donor is an auto. Will my pedal assembly swap over?

How about my springs and shocks? I have ebaich and kyb's. I think I heard they will work but not sure.

Thanks guys....Sorry to thread jack, but this was an inspiration!
