OK folks... we have made arrangements to offer StangNet members a great deal on a set of JBA Headers for the 99-04 Mustang 2Valves...

http://www.partshopper.com/shop/JBA-Mustang-Header-2V-99-04-m290.html

That is the page for detailed info on the headers, we need to get at least 15 0rders to get em out the door and on the way.

Anyone shopping for these can tell you this is an outstanding price on the headers offered from JBA, and we all know the quality is top notch.

If you are in, please order on the Partshopper site and we will keep all the orders held (won't charge cards) until we know we get the go and start shipping.

JBA has authorized this sale for StangNet members... so get in now while we can offer them this low.

What sort of gains are expected from these? Of course other mods will affect that but I'd like to hear experiences with a bone stock car and also a car that is blown like mine. Anyone care to estimate how much these will help me?

I'm just a little leary as the new GTO crowd has unanimously given a :notnice: to the JBA Shorties for our cars.

I've seen a couple dyno pulls on modded cars with the usual bolt ons that resulted in 8-10 rwhp. On a stock car you will only see 4-5rwhp as stated by mrvax. In S/C'd applications these do much better, large gains can be had there. Not as much as LTs but close.

I am very happy with my JBAs. :nice:

I'd say I might but they don't make any headers for my car so their tech line says. 97 GT? They said my car has air induction on the manifolds.... smog pump? But yet I don't see anything hooked up on the front of the manifolds. I've also read that my car for the transmission is mechanical while it's hooked up electronically for the speedo.

Cavallo, You have to follow the Sign In link to create a new account.

And for the guys saying they find it cheaper, I suspect that in high doubt, as these prices are WAY below Jobber.

I got 5 RWHP and 7 lb/ft of torque from my BBK tuned length shorty's. I would say the JBA's would be close to the same.
Unfortunately, these JBAs aren't tuned (equal) length.
Seems like a high price and still alot of effort for minimal gain...I'd just take the plunge and do long tubes. While the labor is probably a bit more, the potential gain is also much greater. BBK long tubes, probably the most popular for the SN-95, are available in ceramic coated for under $500. Add a cheap, short midpipe for about $170, and you're ready to roll. I've been hearing a lot more people stating a tune is really needed to take advantage of the long tubes though...something you might want to pencil into your budget...I am adding it to mine (no sense in spending the coin to buy and have em installed, then be disappointed).
