Hi guys, I have a sn95 5.0. Car is a 306 with H/C/I work done to it. The car is the AODE with a Thor 2300 stall converter along with 373 gears. Also tuned. The car runs great and shifts great, I am very pleased with it so far. However, I am experiencing a jerking/ vibration from the car when I let off the gas. Seems almost like it only does it at very low RPMs while in motion, around 1500-2000 RPMs. Now my question is, could this possibly be the stall converter doing this? As soon as I touch the gas it goes away. If I’m coasting around on backroads barley on the gas or coming to a stop, that’s when I feel it the most. When I push overdrive off, it doesn’t feel like it does it as bad. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You're lugging the engine. There isn't enough converter slippage, and at low RPMS, the transmission is holding the engine RPM too low, your converter isn't as loose as advertised. You'll have to increase your converter stall if you want that to stop.
That depends on your cam specs, compression, and rear gearing. you should probably consult a converter mfg to get the best advice.
