ordered the JLT cold air intake saturday, the BBK straight shot isn't cutting it anymore. My intake air temp has been about 120 - since the tube is made of aluminum and the engine is obviously warm. The JLT looks a hell of a lot better and the pipe is noticable bigger, the reviews/company provided dyno sheets looked good. I'm gonna give it a try and let yall know how it works. Hopefully it shows up by wednesday - since I don't work wednesdays -and I'll give y'all a review. Does anyone else use this intake?
On a side note - I'm saving for a P-51 intake to install at the end of august but am wondering if I should get that or a better torque converter. Any suggestions?

Ya im actually pretty excited to hear back about that JLT because that's the cold air that im wanting. But if i was you i would definitly buy the bigger stall convertor over the intake right now. With running a stock convertor you might be able to stall up to 1500rpm, actually proboly not even that much since you have gears and the other mods. Since you can't stall up it's hard for that car to get a good launch, with a torque convertor you will be able to rip some people's heads off when you leave the line. Is the car your daily driver?

What stall speed would keep the functionality of my car as a daily driver? Also - just for my own lack of knowledge on the auto trans, the stall speed is the speed at which I can brake and then rev the engine to while in drive gear without it xferring power to the rear wheels right?
