Another thread about my next mod. I have a pcv prefilter on the mach 1. I wanted to get a separator for the drivers side. Just to keep the intake air cleaner inside the manifold and less sludge build up.

Great deals for black Friday and such so I ordered 1. Problem is i ordered the wrong freaking side. So i then ordered the correct side. Now i have both.

Guess I'll take the prefilter off and put the separators on both sides.

I notice they don't seem to sell the prefilter anymore so i wonder if it's effectiveness lead people away from buying them and they quit selling them.

Comments or thoughts?

Looks great. I need to build some motivation to reconfigure my PCV setup.

I've driven the car around 125 miles with the separators on. The only one that has caught anything is the pcv side, driver side on the 4 valve.

When i had a 2 valve, the procharger pushed a bunch of oily residue into the intake tract and thru the blower tubes. A shop i frequented put a prefilter on the pcv side, passenger side. It helped but i wonder of a separator would have done better.
