Hey guys,

I just thought I'd start a thread purely dedicated to the many that got the july 18th build week...I know I did. I hope having my car be built on the week right after shut down isn't a bad thing........

I was told 7/18 also. I already have the VIN. Ordered 6/13 sonic blue GT vert manual trans iup 500

Thats the date I got for mine. Can't wait to get it. Dealer said around the 2nd of August for it to arrive.

If you got the car at Sticker i would wait a few weeks for the 2006s,Its almost a year old already.Unless you got it with the X-plan.johnny

I was just notified that my car has now been "bucked" whatever that means.

Johnny- it is my impression that it will be just as difficult to get an 06. And although the car may be "a year old", where are you going to find a year old car with just 4 miles and a full warranty? I had to get an 05 because I really wanted the sonic blue which will not be available next year.

I am just saying if you really want that color that bad go for it.
and if you are paying X price also go for it.But If i were paying sticker i would wait till end of aug early sept and get one.because if you dooooo trade it in 2 or 3 years from now you will get a bit money money for the 2006s.Johnny

July 18th is what I was told also, ordered 3/18 also a Sonic Blue GT, 5spd, IUP, spoiler delete. If she ever shows up I'll be getting D plan. Wanted Sonic Blue so an 06 won't do me any good, was also told that 06's will be hard to come buy as Ford is trying to fill every 05 order they can.

Kerrdog ours is the exact same..July 18th build date, Sonic Blue GT, 5 spd, IUP, spoiler delete. I plan on tossing on that CDC ducktail spoiler. I'm getting mine on A plan, and am paying about 24,500...definitely not going to be waiting for 06, since I want sonic and don't want to pay more

My invoice / build sheet shows dealer invoice @ $24,288.84, D / A plan should be good for another $1000 to $1200 off.

My Bonspeed Delta's showed up today, 20" of pure shine, still waiting on the Baer brakes though...I'm building a BFG magazine car clone.

Hey count me in...I'm s'posed to get mine built the "week of July 18"as well.....ordered right at the end of May, dealer called with VIN a couple weeks later, priority is 10 on the order sheet.

How do you know if you got "bucked"? Whatsat mean anyways??

Mineral Grey GT Premium, Manual, IUP, Active 'larm...man I almost wanna go up there and help build it!

still don't know what bucked means, but it is the next step in line that ends with me picking it up. It seems as if there will be a disproportionate amount of sonic blue GTs this week, any other verts?

I wish there was some way to tour the plant while it was being built.

Mine's being built the 21st (Thursday!!) I cannot wait to have her sitting in my driveway. Where I live, I'm gunna be clost to the only one with SB..Thankfully I live in Michigan, not too far away from Flat Rock, so it should come a couple days after it's built. These next couple days are going to creep by though...oh well, it'll be worth it

2006 GT Verts will not be on the lots till this time NEXT year.... so if your waiting for an 2006 GT Vert... Find a rent a wreck to drive for 10 months or so.

V6's first, Verts and GT's next, then GT Verts... That’s how they were built this MY,, and nothing says it will be any different for the next MY (unless someone has some inside info and wants to share )

Oh and to the thread starter The wait sucks,, But the car don't.. You'll love it.... Think I'll go drive mine now I need a smile boost

The verts weren't even released until spring for the '05 model. Dealers in my area received Gt's at the same time they got V6's last year. I don't look for any specific order for '06.

Finally some real progress

Sophia, my torch red GT was built on Wednesday (7/20) Should have shipped yesterday and be here in Texas next week or early the following week. After almost 5 months these last couple of weeks have been the hardest to wait out.

My '06 premium GT Vert is scheduled to be built week of Aug 8.
