Recently picked up two pony's- a '95 gt and a '90 gt. was going to end up doing the 5 lug conversion from parts off of the 95. My question is this............ do I need newer control arms on the front if I want to run 96-11 wheels?
Not for 94 to 04 wheels, they fit with the stock arms. As for 05-11 wheels, they will sit in a bit due to the different offset/backspacing. However the 18 & 19" wheels may hit the struts too.
Ok so the spindle is what spaces it all out and not the control arm? I'm just wanting to do this right so that I have no problems down the road when I get my rims.
