I'll be in Knoxville until sunday with a lot of down time on my hands and wondered if anybody knew of a junkyard with a bolt on 8 for my 65 or maybe if I'm luck a 57-59 car 9 inch?

You'll probably find 8" and 9" rears in every junk yard in America. They are that common. But finding a 57-59 car rear will be a little tougher. I'd find any 9" and have it cut down to fit your car. The easrly (57 for sure) 9" aren't quite as strong (the housing itself) as the later rear ends. 57 housings are very hard to find becasue the hot rod crowd likes them for their asthetic appearence.
