I just added another vehicle to my 2001 Mustang GT collection. I purchased another muscle car. What do you think?

Not really. It weighs 4200lbs.

not talking about the weight. im talking about how it actually looks like an old challenger. it has a manual transmission. it has 2 doors. the design is consisent with an older challenger.

the new charger looks like anything but an old charger. it has 4 doors, and a crapamatic. the chargers of old had a 4 speed and 2 doors. the design is not consistent with an old charger.

as for the weight, it's nothing that a supercharger can't over come.

IDC what the name is on the car, they coulda called it Neon XL and its still a bad arse for what it is. Comfy, large good handling hellashisly quick 4-door. I can beat a regular RT but I bet a SRT would walk me. My cars not fast but I can beat 95% of the cars on the road around here

Red2001GT: screw the bashing cause its not a Ford. Thats a sweet car and very fast. You can take 4 frinds with you alot more comfertably than the 3 more in the Stang and you have a free hand for you drink

Good score.....bet its faster than the Stang :D

WE FEAR CHANGE :hide:

The first Mustangs didnt have power options, 6-speeds, 5-speed autos, IRS, TC, DOHC or Suprechargers.....does that make the newer ones not a Mustang? We are getting too much into lets make it EXACTLY like the old one :nonono: Some like it some dont, thats why manufacturers have sooooo many different cars. Cant make everyone happy

yes but Dodge referred to the design as blending the old with the new...just as ford said about the 05+ mustangs.

Dodge did not blend anything of old in with the new, therefore they shouldn't claim the new Charger as being retro with a hint of the future. IMO it should have never even been called a Charger. Basically all it is, is a big white lie ad campaign to boost sales. fortunately for them it worked, because it hit the 35 - 50 year old age group perfectly, and everyone and their brother went out and got one.

but for the real charger fans, who knew what the Charger was in it's day, this was an insult, and a smack in the face, again fortunately for Dodge, they more than made up for it with the re-introduction of the new Challenger.

It's a brand new 2008 Dodge Charger R/T with the Road & Track Performance Package. It has 350HP with 390 ft./lbs. of Torque.
I love the R/T R&T a lot. It looks very sharp. I needed something with a lot of room inside that looks nice and that is fast. The wife loves it a lot and so do the many other sexy looking women that I hang out with.
