just bought 83 v6 mustang need help

so i finaly decided to get anouther mustang so i bought one that wasnt running for 6 years got the eng to trun over finaly but there seems to be a big draw some wheres tryed boosting it is turning over slow i replaced selinoid and start truns over more then 2 cranks now but dies quick wireing seems to get very very very hot
so i was wondering because i wasnt sure where els to post this what could be the problem

Sounds like the starter. I can't think of any reason the wiring would get hot except for the starter drawing too many amps.

Big possibility that it's you starter.

i replaced the starter and its still doing it ? the eng has been sitting for 6 years is there any way i can maybe lube it up better maybe its just having a hard time turning it over because it has been sitting so long ? is that a posibilty ?
