Hey guys I just bought a 347 stroker motor for my 87 gt. Its a 347 STROKER MOTOR FRPP part # m 6009-c 347 long block. 4.030 bore 3.4 stroke 4cc valve relief pistons 2 Bolt B50 sportsman block. Forged Steel connecting rods Forged aluminum .030 pistons Clevite Rod and Main bearings. Balanced for 28.2 oz balancer and flywheel. Includes Edelbrock performer Heads 2.02 valves Mellings high volume oil pump 1.6 roller rockers 7quart canton oil pan Flywheel and Balancer Pushrods E-cam and lifter, Typhoon upper and Lower intake. I also have bbk long tube headers, bbk offroad h pipe, and slp mufflers. I just got rid of the intake, cam, and i am probably going to get rid of the cylinder heads too. I want to get either the AFR's 185cc heads (thre very expensive) or i got a really good deal on world products windsor sr heads that are machined ported out with oversized springs and valves. or should i stick with the eldelbrock heads i have now? I am also going with a comp cam and edelbrock rpm 2 intake. What u guys think? what heads should i go with? and what kind of gains you think i will see..
