just bought a 88 LX hatchback 4cyl for $50

I pick it up saturday (tomorrow) after dinner....actually I am driving it home. the plates from my GT are going on because they are both 88 black mustang's lol...just to get it home

daily drive it until it quits man. Thats cheap transportation, for 50 bucks and good gas money. When it quits do a v8 swap or part it out.

haha dude thats fing amazing, I think you have 2 options. Daily drive it, or build a motor and drop it in. You have that truck for winter dont you? Looks like your gonna have to build the motor

but the body is pretty rough...I will see once I get it up on the hoist and get a good look.

Good way to get your car towed and be charged with Use Plates Not Authorized For Vehicle under the Highway Traffic Act. No set fine...straight to a court date, usually a $500-$1000 fine in court here in T.O.

You are better off driving it with no plates. Drive Motor Vehicle No Plates It is only a $110.00 ticket.

I second the idea to build a motor over the winter and wait for the 4-banger to puke, then drop it in. That, or I'll give you $100 to drive it over here and you can make $50 on the deal (well, except for the gas money you'd spend doing it).

gonna go get it here in a few minutes as soon as the girlfriend gets out of the shower and gets ready (she is going to folow me)

I am bringing gas, batery, set of headlights bulbs (he said one was blown) my plates lol
