:D no pics yet but it's a great deal that I couldn't pass on. The car is a Black hatch with porno red leather int. 71,000 Km's some rust on the fenders and a bit on the hatch but My dad owns a Body shop. I might fix it up and dump the 351W I got in it. Or I might strip it and part it out and use the $$ for a coupe to build. The car was best offer takes it. I asked if he had any offers on it and he said no....$50 and it's gone. I was like fifty bucks sure I'll take it even the taillights are worth more than that to me. I'm going to get it Saturday (runs like new) drive it home. since it's an 88 and it's black I will just slap my plates on and drive it home:nice:

what should I do to this thing.....fix or part it out. I will try and get some pics this weekend. The body is pretty rough but I could fix it in a few weeks. The taillights are mint and the bumpers are in really good shape minus the paint but no tears or crack's. the hood is nice without any rut or dents. I didn't even look underneath to see what the floors are like yet but I'm not to worried about it for $50.

do like me and use it as a DD. I bought a 93 vert last may for $300. I planned for a 351 swap. after driving for a week or 2 I realized it got 30 mpg so I kept it as a dd. with gas prices dropping I may reconsider that engine swap now.

I doubt it's solid underneath but you never know. I still cant believe it only got 71,000km's on it or I guess that would be 45,000 miles. he said he bought it a few years ago from an old lady and when he was taking it she said that will be the 2nd time it left the town she lived in (I will be the 3rd owner)

SINCE WHEN THE HELL IS A MUSTANG A GOOD WINTER CAR??? WTF?

It is a good winter car for us Mustang lovers. You get to drive a Fox all year long and the 88HP won't get you into trouble.

I bought mine about 2 months ago. It is an 88 4cyl hatch with only 45,000 kms on it. 2nd owner, mint shape, even has the original tires on it. I bought a set of pony wheels from a friend and now it looks great, aside from the single exhaust pipe. Runs great and I get 30mpg.

Here is a pic before the wheels. Nice huh :D

That's so clean, it's a shame to drive that in the snow/salt.

Yeah well, I am not driving my 87 nor the wife's 05 during the winter, and I try to keep the miles off my Contour SVT so I have to drive something. It has been undercoated and I will try to keep it clean during the winter months.

I just like driving a Fox year round though :nice:

Just do what i did... take it to the car wash once a week and spray the undercarriage off. i had mine in ohio since birth in 1991, brought it to louisiana in 1998, and it never rusted. well, the differential has some surface rust on it now, but its been sitting up for a while.

Edit... or you could always use a 5 gallon bucket of grease and have a do it yourself undercoating.. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry pete.. had to
