Just bought used hypertech

I just bought a used Hypertech programmer from Ebay.
It is the 41005 model for 2001 GT's
They guy stated that he used it once and is now only good for his exact car, 2001 GT only.
However, after researching the product, I have found that his car needs to be reprogrammed back to stock before I can use it.
I don't know if he did this or not.

You re right, he must reprogram his car back to stock setting before you can use it.
If you want to know for sure, just plug it on your car and if the stock programm of the previous user still in the hypertech you will get the message on the display.

I think the message is something like " programmer as been used"

I bought mine from Ebay to and no problem with it. i did ask the previous owner to make sure to reprogrammed stock setting before sending it .
