Hey guys...i'm currently in the market for a newer mustang(00-04)...I wanted to buy a Mach1 or a Bullitt...but money might be a problem...so...here's my question:

How do the 00-04 GT's run? future mods would be...short throw,catted x or h pipe,cat back exhaust,gears, and a CAI.

what are some times in the GT compared to the Mach 1 and Bullitt with those simple bolt ons?

Thanks alot!!!

Bolt on Power mods for 99up are
k&n or same type of filter.
Pullies
Timming adjuster or chip, chip is better if doing gears
X-pipe
Headers
Gears.
Bullitt intake or intake elbow/Throttle body they go together. Trottle body doesn’t do much by it’s self, with out the elbow.

CAI is eye candy
Cat back is sound candy, If you get an X-pipe. X-pipe pretty much tunes the exhaust/flow, so catback not needed.

Times depend on the driver and weight of car. You could take one driver and see a stock GT with DRs go 13.8/13.7
Then you could see a driver with a modded car pull same times.

It’s all in the power to weight, weather and if the driver has the practice/ability to pull the times out of the car.

Thats my 2cents on the matter
