Not sure if you have ever been around "race" cars, but I too have run my car with just the X or Prochamber (just around the yard, not driving around) and can say a race motor trumps it 10 fold. I even think my friends race cars with exhaust on them are louder! Too loud can be a problem, but the right tone and DB level can sound amazing!

Too bad our cars dont sound like the 4.6s!

I have never in my life ever seen someone that has a 302 say they want it to sound like a 281 Any kind of exhaust combo sounds better on a 5.0 than on a 4.6, my best friend has a '00 gt and he has probably the best sounding setup for the 4.6 (bassani o/r x and bassani street comp catback) and it still doesnt sound as good as 5.0 that has the exact same setup (and my friend admits it too).

Opinion my friend, but Kooks LTs, off road X and Borla Stingers sound sex on a 4.6 DOHC motor. They just have a crisper cleaner sound (not to mention raspier) that I LOVE! Lots of people on this board wont agree, but I can tell you in MY opinion a 4.6 trumps the 5.0 as far as exhaust note goes!

I would have to agree.....I think the twin cam cars sound insane with LT's O/R X and SLP's, magnapacks, or bullets!!! Sickest raspiest tone you will ever hear. Google video search snake bite cobra....that is the sickest sounding stang out. And he just rips it $hitty!

Mac 1 5/8 unequal shorties, mac 2 1/2 X pipe,2 1/2 flow tubes-3'' bullets with 3'' turndowns from KOI.Sounds awesome.Thats where you get the turndowns and reducers from.I used to work for midas and they can bend 2 1/2 but not 3.
