Just got 4.10's installed

ive got stock cams and i scrub my 315's into 3rd lol... and if i powershift 4th they chirp...


but yes... 4.10's are WAY too much fun and if you ever drive another stock gear'd mustang youll be like wtf?!?!

Well, I just went for my first spirited drive since having the gears installed and the car just feels so much faster. 2nd gear no longer red-lines at 70 mph, which is nice. Now 2nd gear is finished almost as quickly as first. At 70 mph, I cruise at about 2600 RMP's in 5th, which isn't bad at all. Now I chirp tire shifting to 3rd. This is the 2nd best mod I've done next to the cams.

Save the PI swap we have nearly identical mods. 4.10's were my 1st real mod and I never looked back. I drive 75 miles 1 way to work and only lost about 1 mile per gallon. I have 100K miles since the gear swap and still get a kick when I lay into it. I like lighting 'em up when I'm doing about 10-15 mph. Freaked out one of my co-workers one day last month when I entered the employee parking lot and saw him sitting in his car. I nailed it at about 5 mph and immediately fishtailed around and went into a donut around his car. Empty parking lots are fun...

Funny thing is, and I never noticed until someone told me, but on street tires at the track I was chirping 4th. I was concentrating on shifting and such but when I came back around one of my friends in the stands pointed it out.
