At 4700RPM on a Mustany Dyno it laid down 424HP and 476TQ
I ran out of fuel at 4700RPM, so now I need to figure out what to upgrade on the fuel system:
This is what I have now:
331ci
all the bolts ons
vortech A trim 8-9lbs
vortech fuel rails/SX regulator
255lph intank pump
38LB injectors, no FMU

I was planning on 50lb injectors and maybe an inline pump and hope that does the trick?

Any suggestions

42# or 50# and an inline pump should defiantly take care of you. I just ordered a Procharger Inline pump to make sure I don't have the same problems. If this doesnt do the trick, bigger feed and return lines is the next step so its worth a shot.

What size pulleys are you using on your A-Trim and what kind of Heads and Cam are you running. Those #'s are EXTREMELY impressive for under 5,000 rpms (I'd be happy to have those numbers @ 6,000rpm when I get my 331 installed )

My vortech pulley is a 2.95 and 7" lower, 8-9lbs of boost, old trick flow heads

I really don't want to upgrade to bigger feed and return lines if I don't need too...

I don't think you're going to need to upgrade the feed lines. I don't think you're even going to need that inline pump. The 42# injectors and tune shoudl take care of the whole deal at that HP level.

I haven't looked into it lately, but the last time I did, the 50# injectors were low impedance (different than that of 42s). If that is still the case, you're not going to be able to just slap em into your injector harness and ride on.

They make 50Lb injectors that are high impedence.

looking at my personal dyno graph, from 4,800rpm to 6,000rpm I gained 60rwhp. Because we have somewhat similar combo's, would this mean your going to be about 490rwhp?

I have a stock cam and stock ported heads, and still made peak power at 6,000rpms so I would think you would too at the very least.

That's an amazing amount of power from an a-trim combo if my theoretical calculations are all correct.

To be honest it made more power than I thought it would, I suppose that's a good problem to have!!

I'm just really struggling with knowing if the stock feed/return lines are big enough to support more RWHP since I will make more power.

I just realized your spinning your supercharger about 6,000rpms higher than I am. I'm kinda glad now I could up my crank pulley and still get some more cfm out of it.
