I just got back from the track and ran 14.624 @95.36 mph. Is that good for what I have done to the car (see signature)? What parts would help me get into low 14's or high 13's?

I would get some 3.73's or even 4.10's for my next mod. But those are great times considering the mods you have. Do you have a coupe or convertible?

i have a coupe, i was suprised at the times too. i race alot on the streets, but tonight was the first time i've ever raced at a real track, i was just hoping not to make myself look like and idiot and mess up big time. I would have been happy with 15 just cause it was my first time.

5 speed or auto?

I'd say your next mod should be a new upper and lower intake manifold. You got a nice exhaust system...its letting plenty of air out...now you need to get some more air in.

Unless you wanna do some real mods like heads/cam. If not just stick with bolt-ons like pulleys, intake manifold ect. Definetly get a good set of gears. And I would work on the suspension before I made any real power.

rock solid man, those are impressive times regardless of how experienced you are. As far as getting them down more, there are a billion threads but like silver said, 373s out back will help you out big time, several tenths lower at least. Aside from that, for 200 more dollars you can put underdrive pulleys and a cold air induction system which together will get you another 15-25 horse and you can do both installs yourself in about 2 hours total.

to give you a breakdown, $160 for 373s, $10 for the correct speedo gear (the white one), $200 for the install of the gears, $80 or so for cold air inuction, and $110 for aluminum underdrive pulleys and you'll be flirting with that high 13 - low 14 mark. And thats if you get it all new, you can usually Ebay or shop Stangnet's classifieds for much lower prices on used stuff.

Add some slicks and you'll be in the 13s.

Gears will be you best next mod. Go with 3.73 or 4.10 if you're hardcore.
