Well, I just got my wife a surprise. She has always wanted a convertible. Mustang GT convertible and I added some parts for her. Eibach pro springs 20 inch torque thrust wheels with 285/30-20 and 255/35-20, c&l intake with tuner, 4.10 gears and flowmaster axle backs. I'm gonna bring it home later this week for her. What do you think?

nice ride.

I am with klaw on this one. Because I have a mustang, but no lift, at night I dream of lifts rather than mustangs. (well, mustangs too) Oh, if only I could lift my car with the press of a button, the things I would do to her. I have never been comfortable working with jackstands. Even at their highest point, there is almost no room under there, and two, I just cant stop envisioning the car coming crashing down on me. I tend to work real quick, and then get the hell out from under it.

Yup - that's me! I want to do a forged bottom end and heads and have already ordered a new twin disk clutch and TR6060 conversion. I spend more time thinking about getting a lift so I can drop everything out the bottom than deciding on the final engine package. Unfortunately, my living room is above my garage so I have very little overhead space. Maybe I need a new house/garage - hmmmm.

I need a new house/garage to accomodate my mustang as well. My garage is very small, the car fits, but that it. Makes it real pain to work on. I was wondering if there is such a thing as a rental garage with lifts, and other tools like engine hoists? I know lots of car junkies who would love to put their car on a lift --but dont have access to one. If they dont exist, I am guessing that is because the cost to insure a rental lift/garage is way too high. You ever watch Jay Leno's Garage? (jaylenosgarage.com) The website actually talks mostly about cars, but I am always looking in the background at the garage itself. It is like a warehouse. I would enjoy something like that.

I did the supercharger install in my garage (small like yours) but had parts laid out all down the parking pad. I've been working on my projects out of my brother's shop (he has two large shops with lifts, all the tools, paint mixing system and spray booth etc) - the only problem is he lives two and a half hours away.
